We are Contact - a theatre and performing arts venue on Manchester’s Oxford Road. We create and produce our own shows, host tours from some of the best theatre companies in the world and develop the next generation of artists, performers and community leaders.

This is an exciting time for Contact as we reopen our theatre in 2021 following major refurbishment.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for accurate and timely financial processing and reporting including payroll. You will support budget holders with the provision of management information and assist the Head of Finance with all month end and year end responsibilities. In addition, you will lead on the provision of finance & accounting services to third party clients.

You will be AAT Level 4 qualified or equivalent with experience of month end processing and taking accounts to trial balance as well as a working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping. You will be a self-starter with good communication skills, strong Excel skills and experience of Sage 50.

Ideally you will be studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification and study support is available for the right candidate. The role is diverse and will give you the opportunity to develop your experience within a supportive environment.
